Dr. Hans Boehnke D.C. DIBAK

Dr. Boehnke graduated with honours from The Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1971 He became interested in the use of manual muscle testing as a diagnostic tool within his first year of practice.  The use of manual muscle testing diagnostically in the measurement of structural, chemical and emotional stress on the body was developed and taught by Dr. George Goodheart of Detroit Michigan who is considered the father of Applied Kinesiology.

Dr. Boehnke attended many courses in the U.S.A. and Canada resulting in his passing written and practical examinations thereby attaining the highest status offered by the International College of Applied Kinesiology. That is referred to as a Diplomate in Applied Kinesiology which he attained in 1989. He joined the International Board of Examiners for The International College of Applied Kinesiology and was a member until 2010, the last 3 of those years he was president. In 1989 Dr. Boehnke became a certified teacher of Applied Kinesiology and has maintained that status since. In 1990 Dr. Boehnke wrote the examinations of The State Board of Chiropractic Examiners for Ohio and attained a licence to practice in the State of Ohio U.S.A. He has licences in Ontario and Ohio but has never used the Ohio licence.

He has lectured on Applied Kinesiology in many venues. He has given presentations in U.S.A., Germany, England, Australia and Canada He has taught courses on Applied Kinesiology in Germany and Canada.  For 10 years he flew to Berlin Germany to teach Applied Kinesiology at The University of Potsdam. His audience was mainly Medical Doctors and Heipractikers (a profession unique to Germany).  In Canada, he has taught courses in The Greater Toronto Area in Ontario, as well as Calgary, Edmonton, and Red Deer in Alberta

He has been in practice for over 40 years now and still loves to go into work to help patients feel and function better. He has had the privilege of treating 4 generations of a couple of families at one time.  He continues to take courses and to write professional papers to contribute to the advancement of patient care.  He welcomes new patients and challenges and has been able to help many patients who were not satisfied with the care and results that they were getting elsewhere.
